What the office says about permits
Greenland posts application forms for building, demolition or moving, electric, gas, mechanical, and flood plain permits, plus planning items such as sign, banner, conditional use, lot split, and rezoning. The city states the actual permit must be filled out and the fees paid at Greenland City Hall, and that some forms are not printable, so residents should contact City Hall for the form they need. No fee schedule, adopted code list, or inspection procedure is published online.
Work that may not need a permit

The city posts a Greenland Business License Application. No separate contractor registration requirement tied to permits is published.
Can a homeowner pull their own permit?
